Summer Musical Theatre Program

BroadwayVentures is a two-week-long, musical theatre intensive program, where students will perform a “full-length, well known musical!” Whether this is your first theatrical experience or your tenth, BroadwayVentures is for you! Performers will be fully immersed in every aspect of the stage experience, from singing, dance, stage management, and acting. Additionally, you will learn a new framework for developing your "character" in the show -- and developing your personal and interpersonal skills.

If you long for the spotlight or are just interested in being in a show, BroadwayVentures will be a transformative experience where you discover your passions, talents, and what it takes to perform a musical!  

BroadwayVentures Performer Responsibilities

All BroadwayVentures performers must adhere to the following requirements.

1. All performers must be incoming 6th graders - outgoing 12th graders.

2. All performers must attend every rehearsal for the entire duration, as well as all performances. No exceptions.

3. Performers registered before auditions may participate in the program.

4. All Performers must be OFF-BOOK entirely before the first day of the program. This means all lines, dialogue, and lyrics memorized. No exceptions.

5. Performers will be responsible for securing their own costumes, with the exception of more difficult costumes. (Scholarships available for students who need assistance with costumes).

6. Performers MAY NOT participate in any other performing groups during the two weeks of the program.

7. Performers must bring a bagged lunch to rehearsal each day. Lunch is a 30 minute block, from 12pm-12:30pm whichs means there is not enough time to order lunch. Additionally, no refrigeration is available so lunches should be non-perishable.
