SUMMER 2026 AUDITION INFORMATION. 

AUDITIONS REGISTRATION: NON-RETURNING MEMBERS ONLY

To reserve a place at auditions, please visit the link above. Payment of tuition is not required at this time. 

If you are accepted into the program, you will then be given instructions on how to register and make arrangements to pay tuition costs. 

Summer 2027 Audition Information

Tuition: $300

Scholarships available! BroadwayVentures Scholarship Application - Open to all students! 

AUDITIONS:

1. Auditions will be held Monday May 10th at 5pm inside the Hartford High School auditorium. 

2. Performers will  be asked to prepare 32 bars or 60 seconds of a song (not from this seasons show) to be performed a cappella. Additionally, you are asked to perform 1 (one) memorized monologue, no more than 2 minutes long.

3. After auditions conclude, the director will email you at the address you provided during registration and inform you if you have been accepted into the program. Everyone is emailed, regardless of whether they accepted or not. Students accepted into BroadwayVentures will then be invited to callbacks to audition for specific roles in our production. 

4. After students audition, they are free to leave. They do not need to wait until everyone has auditioned. 

iNFORMATION mEETING & CALLBACKS:

 Students will be asked to attend a BroadwayVentures Information Meeting at the date listed below. Here, students and parents will be provided all the necessary information needed for successful participation in the program. All students, regardless of past experience in BroadwayVentures are required to attend this meeting. Parents/guardians are also highly encouraged to attend. In addition to receiving scripts and program materials, students will be asked to sign a contract, securing their place in the program. Once contracts are signed, students will no longer be able to drop participation in the program. 

1. The Information Meeting and callbacks will be held Monday May 17th at 4pm inside the Hartford High School auditorium and is open to all students accepted into BroadwayVentures. 

2. Performers will be asked to sing songs from this seasons show! Sheet music provided below. Paper copies are available upon request. Performers will sing to a pre-recorded backing-track, which will be found below soon. 

3. Performers will also be asked to read for a selected character. Callback sides are provided below. Paper copies are available upon request. 

4. The Production Team would like performers to be as prepared as possible for callbacks so please start learning and memorizing the songs and sides provided! 

5. Callbacks tend to run late, but we are hoping to have everything wrapped up no later that 9pm. 

Our Season:

BroadwayVentures 2027 Season will run Monday through Friday starting July 19th and ending July 31st (NEW DATES THIS SEASON). Our performances will be Thursday July 29th, Friday July 30th, and Saturday July 31st. The BroadwayVentures Award Ceremony will be held Saturday August 1st at 7pm.
